Jamming
Bring your instruments to the Seattle Folk Festival! Jamming is a big part of our aesthetic and a great way to enjoy warmth among friends on a cold winter night. We've set aside some nice spaces to jam, so be sure to bring along your instruments for some good ol' fun!
Friday Jamming: There will be some space at the Friday Night Square Dance for Bike Works for Jamming
at the Rainier Valley Cultural Center
Saturday Jamming: All day (1-6pm) we have great workshops at the Columbia City Church of Hope, both for instruments and for vocals. In the evening, at the Appalachian Winter gala concert, we have hosted jams from Northern Departure (bluegrass) and The Tallboys (old-time)
Sunday Jamming: Lots of space all day at Town Hall Seattle for jamming. The lobby will be open for jamming and kids' activities, and the upstairs Great Hall will be open on the stage for jamming and hanging out!!
